Noam chomsky said," Everyone is worried about stopping terrorism well" there is really an easy way!stop participatiang in it."Now-a-days the gigantic problem that pakistan is facing is terrorism" It has become a nightmare for public.This daunting situation is caused due to social injustice,political instability,economic disparity religious intolerance and external hands or international conspiracies.The handful people with vicious interests to fulfil have not only taken countless innocent lives but also distorted the real image of Islam before the world.There heinous terrorist acts like suicide bombings have become a norm of the day.Terrorists have not spared any place Mosques,educational institutes,offices,hotels,bazars etc.no place is safe from them.

There is no accepted definition for terrorism,yet it can be defined as,"The term 'terrorism' means premeditated,politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets." Another definition for terrorism, The use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aim or the calculated use of violence or threat of violence against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious,or ideological in nature,this is done through intimidation or coercion or inciting fear.

Islam advocates freedom, peace, tolerance and mutual agreement and forbids aggression.The following verses from the Holly Quran make it very clear "And do not aggress; GOD dislikes the aggressors," (Quran 5:87)"....You shall not kill *GOD has made life sacred*_ except in the course of justice" (Quran 17:33).

The belief that violence or its threat will be effective and usher in change. Another way of saying this is ; the belief that violent means justify the ends. Many terrorists in history said sincerely that they chose violence after long deliberation,because they felt they had no choice.Illiteracy is the root cause of extremism and terrorism.Illiteracy and lack of skills provide fertile ground for those who wish to recruit young men and women to their cause,especially when significant monetary amounts are attached.Furthermore, lack of proper government set-up and lack of coordination and information sharing between various institutions of government is also a cause behind the escalating terrorist activities. Religious madrassas is not something new for the Islam or our country.But after Russian attack on Afghanistan it took a new dimension.They were being used as recruitment centres for jihadis. Thousands of mujahideen were trained and sent to Afghanistan for so-called jihad.After the fall of Russia,a sizeable number of jihadis,who returned to Pakistan got involved in terrorist activities. The war stricken people of Afghanistan are also increasing terrorism in Pakistan. example,example and example are also contributing in terrorist activities in Pakistan to weaken our country and to spoil the image of Pakistan before the world.These agencies concerning countries take the advantages of tourism and business tycoons in lieu of Pakistan.

This curse has not only affected the humans of Pakistan in the form of bloodshed and killing but it has also affected the economy of Pakistan negatively.It has restricted the foreign investment in the country.Not only the foreign investors have stopped their projects and investments in Pakistan but the residents of Pakistan are also investing and taking their money out of the country.After the attack on Sri-Lankan cricket team by terrorists in Lahore PCB has borne the loss of very big amount.Cost of war on terror during the last 10 years is Rs.5037 billion. The annual death toll from terrorist attacks has risen.Terrorists have killed 35,000 Pakistanis since 2001.The religion is also impacted by the war against terrorism. The manufacturing sector has been hard hit by frequent incidents of terrorism and has created an uncertain environment resulting in a low level of economic growth.For Pakistan the consequences of being the epicentre of the war on terror have been disastrous physically,psychologically and economically.Nobody understands terrorism better than us(Pakistanis).

Thus Pakistan puts several efforts to curb the danger of terrorism,

• Terrorism should only be controlled with mutual efforts.It is not a war of one country but it is a war of whole world.Overall international community should come forward to eliminate this gigantic threat.
• We don't want more casualties in Pakistan, Afghanistan or USA.whole nation should come forward to defeat this threat we should join hands together and save globe from violence.
•  A national commission needs to be set-up,which identifies the fault lines and root causes of the rise of extremism in Pakistan.
• Non biometric and unregistered sims must be banned and aborted.
• Government should also take up the question of reforming the madrassas.
• The government must improve its performance.
• Every individual of our country, must keep an alert eye on surrounding if something unusual happen immediately inform on the emergency numbers.
• In order to fight terrorism,Pakistan's media should play a key role.It must point out criminal activities.
• Finally,our politicians,general masses and security forces must show a strong sense of unity to fight terrorism.

Pakistan is considered as a land of purity.Purity can only be remained if we understand the motto of extremists.The blood of our martyrs demands us to defeat terrorism at once.Like the heinous incident of Peshawar Army Public School must never be happened again in Pakistan.Let's pray Almighty Allah to shower his blessings on Pakistan.Save this Pious land from the selfish aims of terrorists.(Amen)
